Arrival and check-in with the Golden Marathon Tours team. Relax at leisure or enjoy a walk along the scenic Sea Point promenade.
Day 2 Program
Thursday, 22 May 2026
Breakfast followed by a day trip to Cape Winelands — visit Stellenbosch and Franschhoek for wine tastings in picturesque vineyards.
Day 3 Program
Friday, 23 May 2026
Morning visit to the Cape Town Marathon Expo for BIB Collection and running gear exhibition. Afternoon free for sightseeing — explore Table Mountain or V&A Waterfront.
Day 4 Program
Saturday, 24 May 2026 (Race Day)
Early transfer to the start area. Run through Cape Town’s streets with views of Table Mountain and the Atlantic coast. Finish triumphantly at Cape Town Stadium, where the GMT team awaits to assist and transfer you back to the hotel.
Day 5 Program
Sunday, 25 May 2026
Full-day excursion along the Cape Peninsula: visit Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, and enjoy ocean-view dining.
Day 6 Program
Monday, 26 May 2026
Free day for relaxation or optional activities — sunset cruise or local market visits. Farewell dinner with fellow runners.
