We arrived at the hotel where we would be staying for the next few days. We were greeted by our expert GMT guides, packed our luggage, and after checking in, we headed to the marathon venue to pick up our race kit and visit the exhibition booths.

We enjoyed breakfast, chatted and shared the special moments we had experienced. Before heading to the airport, we had some free time for a final stroll and some shopping.

The Paris Marathon, founded in 1977, sparked the international trend of marathons in major cities. Paris hosts one of the largest and most popular marathons in Europe, renowned for its romantic charm and impressive architecture.
Today, the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is one of the largest marathons in the world, both in terms of participation and performance. Every runner returns home with unforgettable memories. Nearly 145 nationalities and over 55,000 runners experience the most legendary long-distance sport. In April, the race traverses Paris, starting from the Champs-Élysées, the Bois de Vincennes, and Boulogne, offering an unparalleled atmosphere, stunning views, and iconic landmarks along the route.
It crosses the French capital’s most important avenues. The route stretches from the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde. From the Rue de Rivoli, it crosses the Place de la Bastille. You will be able to enjoy the lush scenery of the Bois de Vincennes and see the Eiffel Tower before heading to the finish line on Avenue Foch. This unique and impressive atmosphere attracts more and more marathoners every year. Currently, there are more than 23,000 international runners, which account for 40% of the participants.
